Great communication through the process of selecting the flooring through to delivery. Received great samples and information to help with our selection. We chose coffee compressed bamboo flooring and it looks stunning. The laying went well by a contractor who had not laid it before and found it very straight forward. Cannot comment on longevity at this stage as only been down 5 weeks but it is very easy to mop and keep clean. Love this product thank you Plantation Bamboo 🙂

We installed the Compressed Bamboo Flooring (coffee colour) ourselves in a couple of bedrooms and love it. It looks great, feels solid, and was surprisingly easy to lay. We’re planning to do the rest of the house at some point. Highly recommend!

We used plantation bamboo vertical flooring in our living area and the matching counter top on our kitchen Island. The product is high quality and the customer service was excellent. We love the look and feel as well as the lower environmental impact compared to classic hardwood flooring.The installation leaflet is well explained and they sent us an email with how to care for the flooring in the long run. So far it is really easy to clean.

This is the third time we have dealt with plantation bamboo and would highly recommend anyone who is thinking about any wooden floors to invest in their products as the quality is top notch and the staff are great to deal with every time. Superb product. We installed a Bamboo xtreme deck at Lake Ōhau in 2024 and it’s standing up superbly to the challenging Mackenzie climate - super stable, no shrinkage or warping. NZ distributors are good to deal with, Ingrid in Christchurch is knowledgeable and has a responsive can-do attitude. Highly recommended.

We used the compressed Bamboo panels to make our kitchen bench and is was an incredible product. Extremely hardwearing and it looks amazing. Our joiner who put it together was also blown away by the panels, he loved the sustainability aspect of it and also the fact it is a New Zealand company. We also made a coffee table, laundry bench, chopping boards and multiple shelves with the off cuts.

I just thought I’d give you an update on my DIY X-treme deck.OMG! It is sooooo easy to install and every component feels premium. The fixing clips have been very well design and result in a firm fixing solution whilst the edge clips give a truely hidden system. The “pro-tip” of silicon adhesive is also easy to apply but obviously I wont be able to tell if it makes a difference because I’m not going to hear any movement. The X-treme bamboo cuts beautifully and its so easy to get clean sharp bevels. I have attached a couple of progress photos for your interest but will get some final photos to you once the landscaping has been completed. I just wanted to thank the Plantation Bamboo team so much for your help in getting to this point, your customer service, thank you.

We are installing the bamboo extreme onto 2 decks. First one is nearly complete and second one still in the framing stage. So far we are loving it. Great to work with, looks amazing and so lovely not to see all those fixings. Based on my sums, I dont think there's any difference in price between the cost of Plantation Extreme Bamboo (which is supplied with hidden fixing clips) and Kwila with fancy decking screws. You can also rest easy with the knowledge that your deck is not made from the products of unsustainable and possibly illegal kwila deforestation (only found out about that when trying to buy kwila furniture to go onto the deck). Ill try to remember to add some pics when its all complete. A 25 years warantee is also piece of mind given one of the 2 decks is an exercise in board replacement after the old pine was cracked and slumped between the joists after about 20 years.

We are thoroughly delighted with our coffee bamboo flooring, extreme decking, and bamboo panel kitchen bench.
