Choose Bamboo Flooring for your next project

We were looking for decking for our new build in the bay of islands. We wanted a premium look but weren’t keen on denuding the rain forests.We discovered Plantation Bamboo and the more that we researched it the more that we realised that it was the product that we had been searching for.We love the fact that it is very stable and does not warp and bleed like a lot of hardwoods. It was easy to work with, very quick and easy to install, and we think that the secret clip system makes the finish far superior to other decks.We were so impressed with it that when we decided to build a deck on the ground level it was an easy choice to once again use Plantation Bamboo.Now that our decks have silvered off, we think that they look fantastic.Eveliene was fantastic to work with, is an excellent communicator and is very efficient.We are extremely happy with our Plantation Bamboo decking and would highly recommend it to anyone. Family and friends that have seen it have been impressed with the product and are looking to use it for their own new decks.

As a first-time user we had a great experience using Plantation Bamboo cladding. Samples were provided promptly and the product arrived from Christchurch to Blenheim in two days.Product density and consistency allowed for good mitering and detailing. From the initial contact to the finished result, we have been impressed and would highly recommend Steve and his team at Plantation Bamboo. We had an old pine deck which we wanted to extend and cover roughly 90sqm and from the outset Steve walked us through the process and made things very easy. It’s important to ensure you measure accurately (based on the precise lengths), resulting in a flat and grand looking feature of our backyard. We decided to replace our outdoor table top with bamboo. This turned out to be an excellent decision and working with the team at Plantation Bamboo was so easy. We installed 60 square meters of compressed bamboo flooring. Found it pretty straightforward (skilled woodworker / experienced DIYer). Good looking product and Josh was helpful and easy to deal with.

Our contact and dealings with Josh and Plantation Bamboo went without fault. The whole ordering process was easy. We picked up the boxes of planks from the warehouse in Wiri with no drama at all. My son, wife and myself built the deck from the ground up over four weekends amongst never ending rain sqaulls. I am very happy with the product and laying the planks is a piece of cake. The stainless brackets work well. None of us are builders but with a bit of googling and basic principles on squaring up and putting in some profiles and running a couple of string lines. Pretty simple. I'm building a small deck around our back door next year and will be ringing Josh and putting in our next order.

HiBuilding a house of your dream is not a walk in the park.However if you do your home work and have the right people around you it's a great experience.Picking the right materials is critical.My wife and myself decided we would go for the mid century Look.Timber ceilings.appealed to us.We remember seeing a bamboo floor that we thought looked great.The pre finished color was perfect.Yes we had made decision.Instead of using it on the floor we used it on the ceiling.After consulting with supplier and our builders we nailed it.Excuse the pun.The clip system worked well and the builders made a butifull job.We were so impressed with the bamboo product that we used it for all our decks plus some of our internal joinery.We have been in our new home for a year now and the plantation bamboo looksstunning .

I chose Plantation Bamboo's products as they looked fantastic on the website and the finished product did not disappoint. Being a sustainable product was also a big plus.Ingrid was exceptionally helpful and very prompt with all of my queries. She was also knowledgeable when it came to finishing and getting the the right product to treat the bamboo with.I have made a nice feature screen in the entry of my house, and created various shelves out of the leftover material.Very happy with the look.

Great communication through the process of selecting the flooring through to delivery. Received great samples and information to help with our selection. We chose coffee compressed bamboo flooring and it looks stunning. The laying went well by a contractor who had not laid it before and found it very straight forward. Cannot comment on longevity at this stage as only been down 5 weeks but it is very easy to mop and keep clean. Love this product thank you Plantation Bamboo 🙂

We installed the Compressed Bamboo Flooring (coffee colour) ourselves in a couple of bedrooms and love it. It looks great, feels solid, and was surprisingly easy to lay. We’re planning to do the rest of the house at some point. Highly recommend!

We used plantation bamboo vertical flooring in our living area and the matching counter top on our kitchen Island. The product is high quality and the customer service was excellent. We love the look and feel as well as the lower environmental impact compared to classic hardwood flooring.The installation leaflet is well explained and they sent us an email with how to care for the flooring in the long run. So far it is really easy to clean.

This is the third time we have dealt with plantation bamboo and would highly recommend anyone who is thinking about any wooden floors to invest in their products as the quality is top notch and the staff are great to deal with every time.
